From 17 to 21 January, the MAXALTO 2020 collection by B&B Italia was presented in absolute preview at the B&B Italia et Maxalto store in Paris. The result was a timeless collection born from the contemporary style of Antonio Citterio and a complete range of furniture with a “new classic” flavor that stands out for the quality of the workmanship, the preciousness of the materials and the search for details.

The neoclassical and modern 2020 catalog includes innovative materials that were not used in previous collections and forms an interior design concept inspired by the atmospheres of French modernism, where different styles merge. An example can be found in the “burnt” wood treated with a derivative technique from the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban.

The timeless elegance of marble and stucco decorations stand out in contrast with soft and straight lines in a range of natural colors that create a bohemian-inspired collection. The light triumphs in the rooms, as well as the furnishings that give personality to each space with sobriety and elegance.

The subtle combination of circles and oblique lines and the sinuosity and cleanliness of modern design contribute to reinforce a style of early twentieth century.
This unique collection, with its incomparable elegance and creative style, represents Maxalto’s house, B&B Italia and the Made in Italy.
