Zenit system designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, a product in the name of lightness and compositional versatility that has been able to remain faithful to its original design, thanks to the ability to embody Rimadesio’s founding values: technological innovation, stylistic research and ecological awareness.

With Zenit, Rimadesio has introduced important innovations in the typology of the “upright bookcase”. These include the exclusive coupling system which guarantees the open modularity of the elements and the production of an aluminum upright without any holes or predefined connections. The uprights, fixed from the ground to the ceiling and always made to measure, allow a free arrangement of the equipment, with the possibility of moving or integrating them over time.

In the bookcase version, Zenit has even greater design potential with the introduction of a brand new backlighted upright and new suspended units which, like all Zenit compositional elements, allow for free positioning.
The new aluminum drawers, with fully extractable runners, are equipped with an unprecedented push opening system and cushioned soft close.

Precision, reliability and freedom of arrangement over time are just some of the main advantages that make Zenit a unique and distinctive product. Selected at the Adi Design Index 2001, Zenit is an expression of maximum design freedom according to Rimadesio. It is available in the version with a ceiling or wall upright, linear or corner. There are infinite versions of a product that over time has been enriched with numerous variations while remaining true to itself and confirming itself as an absolute best-seller of the collection.

Materials and finishes
Zenit is a versatile solution perfect for displaying and containing, intended for the home, professional and retail spaces. The variety of finishes allows easy stylistic integration in any environment.
The new cabinets, equipped with aluminum profiles and lateral sides, are available in the aluminum finish, brown and in the 48 Ecolorsystem variants. The double-sided coating of the drawers and doors is available in lucido, opaco, reflex, sahara and diamante lacquered glass or in Litech, in Sahara and Taiga wood with a three-dimensional effect, in fabric in the Lux and Material range and also in synthetic leather, with a total of 161 finishes. The writing desk unit with a flap door is internally lined with synthetic leather in the 7 available finishes.

Sustainability
Like all Rimadesio products, Zenit system is made by following the principles of the safeguarding of the environment and its resources, through a production process powered by solar energy, aimed at the creation of long lasting goods. Zenit is made by using glass and aluminum, Rimadesio materials of excellence, 100% recyclable and actively recovered in the production cycle, with a view to a circular economy that reduces waste to zero. Ecolorsystem* is the exclusive range of lacquers used by Rimadesio and purely composed of water-based paints, which guarantee the total absence of substances harmful to man and the environment. Rimadesio packaging is produced just-in-time using only recycled and 100% recyclable cardboard. The minimum waste produced by the packing machine is mechanically compressed and sent to neighbouring paper mills for the production of high-quality recycled paper, with a low environmental impact process. Zenit system sliding system can be completely disassembled at the end of its life. This peculiarity ensures the proper recycling of each component, in compliance with international standards on environmental protection.
