For 2021, Ballarini Interni recommends the quartz surfaces by Silestone by Cosentino, which this year presents a new visual identity in the name of sustainability, thanks to the pioneering and exclusive HybriQ technology. HybriQ technology inaugurates both a new production process and a new material composition, in line with Cosentino’s main objectives of respect for the environment, such as the use of 99% recycled water and 100% renewable energy. From a compositional point of view, HybriQ uses a new hybrid formulation of mineral raw materials that offer a similar or even better performance than quartz and recycled raw materials. This allows to reduce the percentage of crystalline silica so that its quantity is variable between 10% and 50% for some colors. Thanks to this, the surface maintains the technical and mechanical properties and its quality and hygiene certifications intact, combining them with an attractive aesthetic and with the infinite design possibilities guaranteed by the different levels of depth, translucency, and shaded effects. The Loft by Silestone line was the first to be created with this technology, a new series of five colors inspired by the industrial style, dating back to the mid-20th century.
