Designed by Antonio Citterio for Arclinea, Kora introduces a new design language shaped by the curve. The island moves beyond the rigidity of orthogonal forms, embracing continuous surfaces and rounded edges that create a more fluid, welcoming and natural relationship with space.
Doors and handles define a distinctive identity in which technical precision and aesthetics come together, contributing to a coherent and refined overall image. Travertine, used for the countertop, side panels and doors, gives the composition material depth and visual continuity, while the tobacco oak wall unit adds a warmer and more domestic feel. The Italia door integrates the matching handle directly carved into the marble, a detail that expresses the craftsmanship and technical expertise behind the system. Stainless steel completes the composition, adding a professional and contemporary character.
Around the island, a series of complementary elements expands its functionality. The Folia table naturally extends the working surface through an organic form, accompanied by Jens stools available in all Arclinea wood finishes. Particular attention has been given to the curved side panel, a synthesis of formal research and technological innovation: rather than being carved from a single marble block, it is produced through a process designed to reduce material waste. The tapered Era countertop further enhances the perception of lightness and elegance through its slim and refined profile.
Behind the island, the wall system organizes the space with precision and functionality. The oven columns integrate with Modus doors that, when opened, reveal a monoblock marble workspace. Italia doors in tobacco oak NTF, combined with coordinated shelves and accessories, complete a coherent system in which every element finds its precise place.
